The Deutsches Jungvolk , DJ or German Youth , was a sub-organization of the Hitler Youth.. The German Youth was for boys aged 10 to 14 years. The Deutsches Jungvolk was started in 1932.
The top unit of the German Youth was called Jungbann , German Youth Platoon. The Jungbann flag was black on which was emblazened a white eagle clasping a silver sword and a white hammer. The scroll above the head of the eagle was in white with the Banne ,troop number in black.
